    Dr. Orson Bowler served as Superintendent for the Preston School District #201 in Preston, ID for 26 years. During his tenure, he created a fund to support programs at Preston School District. He lived the principles that he taught and was a man of honor and respect.

    This fund was established by Ella Ruth and John S. Griffith of Culdesac, in honor of Ruth's father, William Tews, who was a long-time farmer in the Shoshone area. The Griffiths created the fund to support Shoshone High School graduates with post-secondary scholarships.
