Scholarships

ICF manages over 60 different scholarship funds – each customized according to the desires of the fund creator. Each has its own eligibility criteria, application requirements, and review process. Many have their own applications, deadlines, and eligibility requirements. Alois and Marie Goldmann Memorial Scholarship Fund

Created by the George and Mary Freund family of Idaho Falls to memorialize his maternal grandparents who were murdered during World War II at Auschwitz. Open to graduating high school seniors statewide who are attending an Idaho college or university. Deadline is March 15.  Click here to apply.

Alvie C. Jeffres Memorial Scholarship Fund

For residents of Bonner County who demonstrate financial need and a high resolve to advance their education and attend college.  Contact your high school counselor’s office for deadline and application.

Anne Veseth Memorial Scholarship Fund

For graduating high school seniors or current undergraduate college students attending or planning to attend a public or private, two- or four-year college or university in the state of Idaho and majoring or planning to major in Fire Ecology or Auto Mechanics. Barbara L. Carnefix Memorial Scholarship Fund

Boise Branch, American Association of University Women Inez Robb Scholarship Fund

For female bachelor's degree-seeking juniors and seniors at BSU, graduating within two years of receiving scholarship award.  Deadline is April 1.  Click here to apply.

Boo Bushell Youth in the Performing Arts Scholarship Fund

For students in grades 1-12 who wish to attend "Camp Little Laugh" or a similar program. Contact ICF for deadline and application.

Boo Bushell Youth in the Performing Arts Scholarship Fund Higher Education Scholarship

For seniors at Blaine County High School intending to study theater arts at any post-secondary institution, with preference being given to students attending the U of I.  Contact ICF for deadline and application.

Caldwell Memorial Hospital Employees and Friends Health Services Scholarship Fund

Established by the employees and friends of Caldwell Memorial Hospital, this scholarship provides financial assistance to students, primarily in the original Hospital’s service area, that are interested in pursuing a degree or certificate in a health care field.  Deadline is April 1.  Click here to apply.

Carol Ormond Scholarship Fund

For seniors at Kamiah High School who intend to major in education at any public or private college or university in Idaho. Contact Kamiah High School counselor’s office for deadline and application.

Colton Mackey Memorial Scholarship Fund

For current or former graduates of Middleton High School. Preference given to students active “on the field” in football and/or baseball athletics (advanced preference given to students active in both) and “off the field” in outdoor activities such as hunting, hiking, fishing and/or camping. Dan and Ruth Panko Memorial Scholarship Fund

For students at ISU majoring in a musical field or participating in university musical groups or activities, based upon academic and individual achievement, community involvement and music talent. Preference given to second year students or students who have participated in Old Time Fiddler Association activities in Idaho. Contact the ISU Scholarship office for deadline and application.

Daugherty Foundation - EITC Scholarship Fund

For traditional and nontraditional students attending or planning to attend Eastern Idaho Technical College (EITC).  Preference given to residents of Bonneville County.  Contact EITC Foundation for deadline and application.

Daugherty Foundation - ISU Education Scholarship Fund

For full-time juniors, seniors, and graduate students at ISU who are actively pursuing a degree in elementary or secondary education.  Contact ISU Scholarship office for deadline and application.

Donovan and Evelyn Grable Memorial Scholarship Fund

Students planning to enroll as a full-time, second-year student in the Administrative Support program at the College of Western Idaho with strong academic achievement in the first year of the program and demonstrated financial need. Contact the CWI scholarship office for deadline and application.

Dorothy B. Adler Scholarship Fund

For students graduating from Lake Pend Oreille Alternative High School who qualify for the free or reduced lunch program and have a minimum Lake Pend Oreille Alternative High School GPA of 2.0. Please contact the Lake Pend Oreille Alternative High School counselor's office for an application.

Dorothy L. White Memorial Scholarship Fund

For seniors at New Plymouth High School graduating with a minimum 2.5 GPA (for vocational-technical students) or 3.0 GPA (for academic students). Contact New Plymouth High School counseling office for deadline and application.

Downey Lions Club Fuhriman Memorial Scholarship Fund

For seniors at Marsh Valley High School in Downey intending to pursue a degree in agricultural sciences, biology, landscape architecture, etc., or a degree in the field of music, performing arts, or visual arts.  Deadline is April 1.  Click here to apply.

Eric Marshall Sullins Scholarship

For students who are graudating or have previously graduated from Fruitland High School. Some scholarships will be based on financial need, while others will be based both on need and academic achievement. Deadline April 1. Click here to apply.

Erle and Cynthia Byram Scholarship

For students graudating from any high school in southern Idaho (south of the Salmon River) with first preference given to any student who has resided in Gooding or Camas County for at least one year prior to application. Idaho Nursing and Health Professionals Scholarship Fund

For members of the Idaho Press Club to use for training or a project that will improve the working press in Idaho.  Contact the Idaho Press Club for deadline and application.

Idaho Society of CPA’s Scholarship Fund

Created to attract the best and brightest students to the profession, scholarships benefit students pursuing an accounting degree at an Idaho school.  Open to full-time students at the junior or senior level majoring in accounting at a public or private college or university in the state of Idaho. Idaho State Council of Trout Unlimited Graduate Scholarship Fund

For members of an Idaho Chapter of Trout Unlimited enrolled at the graduate level at an Idaho university, researching native or endemic coldwater fish, or a related field.  Deadline is April 1.  Click here to apply.

Irene Gustafson Scholarship Fund

For seniors at Moscow High School who possess ability in both written and oral English, creative writing ability, and are involved in at least one charitable activity.  Deadline is April 1.  Click here to apply.

Irma Frisch Farrington Fund – Alice Wolfe Art Scholarship

For a C of I sophomore, junior, or senior with a 3.0 GPA who is majoring in art or is a Gipson scholar with art as the field of concentration. Contact C of I Financial Aid office for deadline and application.

Irma Frisch Farrington Fund – George V. Wolfe Pre-Law Scholarship

For C of I sophomore, junior, and senior students with a 3.0 GPA, intending to pursue the study of law. Contact C of I Financial Aid office for deadline and application.

J. Carl Mattson Scholarship Fund

For seniors at Mackay High School who have completed six trimesters (or the equivalent) of Vocational Agriculture, and have been active in the Future Farmers of America and Vo-Ag activities.  Need not be pursuing a degree in agriculture.  Deadline is April 1.  Click here to apply.

Jayo Family Scholarship Fund

For seniors at Emmett High School and Black Canyon School able to demonstrate financial need.  One scholarship awarded to a student graduating with honors.  One scholarship awarded to a student planning to attend a vocational or technical school or program.  Contact Emmett High School counseling office for deadline and application.

James and Rose Helebrant Education Scholarship Fund

For seniors at Buhl High School who can demonstrate financial need and good moral character.  Deadline is April 1.  Click here to apply.

James E. Hawkins Memorial Scholarship Fund

For seniors at and graduates of Salmon River High School in Riggins with a minimum 3.0 GPA and planning to attend a higher education institution as a fulltime undergraduate student. Jim Poore Memorial Scholarship Fund

Larry J. May Hospitality Management Scholarship Fund

For full-time students enrolled in a degree-seeking program related to the hospitality industry, including hotel/lodging, food service/restaurant, entertainment/golf club, resort, and the travel/tourism industries.   Deadline is April 1.  Click here to apply.

Treasure Valley Family YMCA Scholarship for Civic Engagement Fund

For seniors at any high school in the area served by the Treasure Valley Family YMCA (Ada and Canyon counties) who have made significant contributions to their community through community service and demonstrate passion for an dedication to working collaboratively to find solutions for civic issues (whether homelessness, healthcare, education, environment, etc.) and an interests in pursuing civic work (whether career or volunteer) that will strengthen and improve our communities.  Deadline is April 1.  Click here to apply.

Turn Around Scholarship Fund

The Turn Around Scholarship Fund was created by a Treasure Valley high school counselor to provide scholarships to deserving high school seniors who have been able to turn their lives around despite difficult home situations. Open to high school seniors graduating from a public high school in the West Ada School District, or the Boise Independent School District.

Wendell P.  Carnefix Memorial Scholarship Fund
